What a classic line. In fact, you could change the first part to any other statement and we’d probably all agree you were right.
So much to do, so little time. So many people/places to see/visit, so little time. So many options, so little time. I don’t have to continue, you get it. And let’s be honest, the statement rings even more true when it’s about things we have to or need to do – like reading books about personal development and leadership.
Even if you’re “new” to personal growth, I’m sure you know some of the bestsellers – the ones people always refer to when the topic of personal growth comes up. You know, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Covey’s son, Sean is also a brilliant book for young adults, by the way). How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The 15 Invaluable Laws of Personal Growth by John C. Maxwell. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
If you’re anything like me, you are motivated to read as many books as you possibly can, but at the same time feel incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of material available and, of course, the time needed to get through it. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of the first things I did when I started my journey to success was Google “good personal development books summarizer”. Google was so good it deciphered my poorly-written search request and popped up a whole bunch of results, but it was the first one that caught my eye: Readingraphics.
Readingraphics tagline says it all: Actionable insights in one page. In other words, not just a book summary, but more importantly a corresponding action plan.
Using a combination of infographics, audio and insightful summaries, Readingraphics gives you instant access to the “gold nuggets” of the most powerful books. All of a sudden my journey went from almost neutral to 5th gear and gave me the motivation I needed to keep growing. The result? I now coach and train others on their journey to success. I don’t think I need to say anymore!
So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed about “what it takes” to start your personal growth or leadership journey, I highly recommend you give Readingraphics a try. You never know, it might just be the catalyst you need. Oh, and you get 2 free books when you sign up. So sign up!
